Entries to The Pitch 2014 are now closed

The ship has sailed for entering The Pitch 2014! Don't worry if you missed out, we will be selling tickets to attend the live final in Bristol so you can still be part of our fantastic event that way. Or there is always next year.

"Setting up and growing your own business takes hard work and determination, but can reap huge rewards for those with the drive to turn their dreams into reality. The government backs entrepreneurs and enterprise. The Pitch competition is a fantastic opportunity to recognise and celebrate some of our best entrepreneurs, as well as providing them with an opportunity to learn from each other, from potential investors and from business experts to help them grow and thrive." - Matthew Hancock MP, Skills and Enterprise Minister

About The Pitch

Founded in 2008, The Pitch is Britain's biggest small business competition with a prize package that includes business support worth thousands of pounds up for grabs.

If you've got a brilliant business, or business idea, then entering The Pitch will give you the unique opportunity to network, learn, and improve your pitching skills, especially if you're invited to one of the brand new, free, intensive pitching boot camps to help you develop those essential pitching skills! Make a good impression at boot camp and you'll go through to the next stage - pitching in front of our expert judges and a live audience at our advice-packed final event in Bristol.

Entries for The Pitch 2014 have now closed, but you can still be involved by joining us at the live final event in Bristol in October. We'll be updating details for this as we get closer to the date, so keep your eyes peeled!

How it works

To enter The Pitch you need to have a trading business, which is less than three years old, or have a great business idea - it really is that simple. But what happens once you click 'submit' on your entry?
